Project Description

The Paydar-e-Gharb oilfield is located 150 km northwest of Ahwaz and north of the Paydar field, was explored in 1980 by drilling the first well. The oil of the field is heavy and the natural pressure of the reservoir does not meet the pressure required to extract the oil. Therefore, the use of a pump on the well is inevitable. The produced oil is sent to the Cheshme Khosh exploitation unit. This field is located near the Iraqi Fakkeh field and is in common to Jabal Foqi field of Iraq.
