Project Description

The Azar oilfield is located in the east of Mehran city, Ilam province. The reservoir of this field is common to the Badra field of Iraq and is located along the northwest of Changouleh independence field. This field has 2 billion and 500 thousand barrels of crude oil in situ. The amount of recoverable oil from this field is estimated at 400 million barrels. It is expected that with the exploitation of this field, 50 to 65 thousand barrels of light petroleum with a grade of API 32 will be extracted daily.
