Project Description

The Ramin oilfield is located in the Khuzestan province, within the limits of Mollathani city and 30 km from north of Ahwaz. The area is 40 km long and 4 km wide, located in the northwest of Maroun oilfield and has relatively light oil in the Asmari Formation. The Ramin oilfield was discovered in 1975, and after that a re-exploration was carried out to explore the oil in the lower reservoir (Bangestan horizon).
