Project Description

The Sefid Zakhor anticline is located in the gas-rich area of Fars province, 160 km southeast of Shiraz, south of the Aghaz gas field, and in the west of the Dalan and Dey gas fields. In the recent years, new studies have been conducted on this structure by the National Iranian Oil Company Exploration Directorate. Due to its special lithology, the Dashtak Formation acts as a mid-discrete-surface and has made it possible for two peaks of the structure, which are separated on the surface, to join in the the Kangan horizon.
