Project Description

The Khangiran gas field is located 25 km northwest of Sarakhs, 180 km northeast of Mashhad, in Khangiran area, Khorasan Razavi province. The Khangiran is one of the largest operational areas of the Iranian oil industry, where the distance between two wells in the area is about 60 km. The amount of in situ gas storage in this area is estimated at 480 billion cubic meters.
